I can’t thank the team at Canberra Cat Vet enough for saving our kitty cat’s life and taking such good care of him 💕. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my two cats. The vets, the nurses and the receptionists are all cat lovers, compassionate and very caring to both cats and cat parents and they know their stuff!the clinic itself is also a very welcoming place overseen by a gorgeous little black panther called Queen Annie! Minou is recovering well after emergency surgery and has been purring loudly since coming home: Thank you 🙏

This vet clinic is a must visit! I am about as picky and high maintenance as they come when it comes to my cats and have been in the vet industry myself for 10 years. Dr Georgia and the nurses are just phenomenal. Their intuition, patience and care with the cats is second to none. I have never experienced such little stress bringing my cats in to a vet and this goes for my cats stress too! Dr Georgias knowledge, experience and thorough and comprehensive advice was absolutely brilliant. Not only was she fantastic when my cat was unwell we also had a very thorough behavioural consult at another time. If your cat had behavioural problems (urinating in the wrong place for example) I highly recommend you go and see her! The reception staff are also just so lovely and give service that goes above and beyond! When my cat was sick Chloe put my mind at ease by listening to everything I said and getting me in quickly for an appointment even though I had never been in before! You can tell a lot of thought has taken place when hiring the staff here. I feel they are getting the best care when I entrust them with Dr Georgia and Canberra Cat Vet. Highly recommend!

We adopted Ripley when she was just 700g and had gastrointestinal issues for about 2 months. I’m not sure I would’ve felt so validation in knowing something was wrong if it wasn’t for Canberra Cat Vet, and they even squeezed us in for appointments when she had issues teething. They have since been so supportive of my raw feeding journey with Ripley which is so comforting. Ripley also loves the vet and has been known to fall asleep on the scales. We have adopted another kitten (Leroy - white DSH) and again, the support from CCV in his kitten hood has been outstanding. I also echo the sentiments from other reviews that I have never felt pressured to purchase/do anything I was not comfortable with.

Canberra Cat Vet literally saved and improved our cat's life after specialists at emergency remained perplexed about the best way to proceed with his care following a life threatening admission. The staff at CCV dropped everything to rally around our little mate. Georgia's experience, intuition, research efforts and care, turned our boy from a limp cat who we thought we were going to say goodbye to, to a now vibrant and happy cat whose health is improving by the day. Just an incredible and happy outcome! We cannot thank Drs Georgia, Kay, John Alice and all of the staff at CCV enough for your concern and care and for bringing our precious mate back from his heart breaking precipice. Canberra Cat Vet are the benchmark for feline care in Canberra and have a real understanding about how these magnificent creatures tick. Thank you CCV!

I always have such good experiences at CCV. Drs Kay, Georgia and Alice are true professionals and clearly excellent at their jobs. The reception staff and vet nurses are also so amazing and it's such a friendly environment to walk into. My boy Archie has a few health problems and the team always takes such good care of him, as well as Hank, my senior cat. I feel so at ease taking my boys to CCV! Thank you to the entire team for your hard work, professionalism and empathy ❤️

We had our first vet appointment for our rag doll kittens, Remi & Coco and the staff were amazing, so lovely. Our vet doctor was great and very thorough. We are so happy to have found a great veterinary clinic for our fur babies! Looking forward to their next visit!

Canberra Cat Vet is exceptional. Dr Collette, Dr John, Dr Georgia, and the whole team are professional, caring, and genuinely devoted to their patients. From a quick, accurate diagnosis of my 11 month old Burmese Lily’s issue and thoughtful post-op care, they guided her entire journey with skill, patience, and real compassion. I was so impressed by their dedication and genuine love for what they do. If you want a vet who truly puts your cat’s wellbeing first, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!!

🤍 We have been incredibly fortunate to have Canberra Cat Vets in our lives for the past ten years. Our Sphynx cats have consistently received exceptional care. The advice has always been honest, thoughtful, and of the highest standard. Our cats’ needs have always come first, while our own values have been respected and honoured without judgement. Every single staff member — from the phone to the front desk to those working behind the scenes — has shown us genuine empathy, and unwavering care and adoration towards our cats. Their compassion and values were especially evident when our beautiful boy, Fritz, suddenly began showing distressing signs of serious illness. From the moment we first phoned CCV, through every daily visit, email, and phone call over the following seven days, to the day we said our final goodbye to Fritz — and even in the aftercare they provided to us — they have reinforced our belief that CCV is the only place we will ever take our cats. I cannot express how much we admire and love each and every person at CCV. A special mention to Dr John, our hero, who worked tirelessly to give Fritz every fighting chance; who taught us techniques to help with Fritz’s movement; who helped us laugh when no one else could; who delicately offered honest advice while always respecting our feelings, values without judgement; and who was truly Fritz’s guardian angel, especially on his final day. Dr Kay, who listened with such empathy, understood that we were not yet ready to let Fritz go, and carefully reviewed his treatment plan to ensure he remained pain-free and comfortable — all while supporting us with extraordinary compassion, including after Fritz passed. Dr Georgia, for her care and guidance, and for the empathy, compassion, reassurance and time she showed me after his passing. And Nurse Sophia deserves heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the tireless dedication, care, and love she gave Fritz in giving him the very best chance of bouncing back. I kn
